The Transformation

Design Notes

Brigade Meadows in Panathur draws families who want generous space without the premium land cost of established neighbourhoods, and this 2,900 sq ft villa for a family of five captures that practical warmth. The brief centred on three active children needing their own identities within the home, while the parents wanted a living area that felt curated and calm. The L-shaped kitchen uses walnut acrylic uppers with beige quartz countertop and Hettich soft-close hardware — a combination that holds up beautifully against daily family kitchen use. Rather than a bare open-plan between living and dining, a styled partition unit carries framed display niches and a backlit pooja alcove, giving the home its centrepiece. The master wardrobe runs the full width of the wall with mirror-backed shutters that double the perceived depth of the room. Each children's bedroom was designed independently: the eldest received a study-integrated wardrobe with open shelving; the middle child got a playful colour-accented wardrobe with drawer towers; the youngest has lower-access storage and a pin-board wall for artwork. The staircase uses warm wooden treads and a simple metal-and-wood railing that stays out of the way visually. The terrace holds a built-in bench with concealed storage underneath — a practical outdoor seat that requires no loose furniture. Cove ceiling throughout both floors adds ambient depth without complexity. Delivered in 68 days.

  • Master bedroom wardrobe — full wall width, soft-close shutters with mirror-backed panels, internal drawer and shelf configuration
  • Three children's bedroom wardrobes — individually designed to reflect each child's age, with study integration in eldest room
  • Styled partition unit — display niches with integrated backlit pooja alcove, separating living and dining areas
  • TV unit — wall-mounted with side panel display shelf and warm accent lighting on the feature wall
  • Cove false ceiling — warm ambient LED cove across living, dining, and all bedrooms on both floors
  • Complete interior painting — soft sand-tone walls with warm white trims across the entire villa
  • Flooring — warm honey-toned vitrified tile throughout ground floor; coordinated wood-look laminate on first floor
  • Staircase — warm wooden treads with metal-and-wood railing and under-stair storage unit with flush-door finish

  • 3D visualisation and design approval — full two-floor layout, individual room sign-off for all five family members

Every Child Has a Room They Love — Every Parent Has a Home They're Proud Of

When a villa is designed around the real rhythms of a growing family, every corner earns its place. Individual rooms, shared spaces, and outdoor zones all work together — because that is exactly what was planned from the first day.
