Inside This Home
Design Notes
Prestige Lakeside Habitat in Panathur overlooks one of East Bangalore's last remaining lakes, and this 4,200 sq ft duplex penthouse was designed to age as gracefully as the water it faces. The family patriarch — a retired professor of literature — wanted interiors that felt like a well-bound book: layered, considered, and impossible to rush through. The Ultra/Bespoke scope was the only way. The lower level features a formal library with floor-to-ceiling mahogany shelving, rolling ladder, and a leather reading chair positioned at the window. The kitchen is a grand U-shape in warm teak veneer with a honed marble countertop and Blum Legrabox drawers. The staircase is a sweeping curve with a hand-turned wooden balustrade. The upper level houses the master suite with a walk-in wardrobe featuring a central valet island and cedar-lined coat section. A rooftop terrace has a built-in daybed facing the lake. Multi-layer ceiling throughout. Delivered in 84 days.

Some Homes Are Built to Last a Lifetime — and the Interiors Must Be Designed the Same Way
Timeless design is not trend-resistant by accident. It is the result of choosing materials that develop character with age, forms that reward slow inspection, and a spatial story that reveals itself over years of living rather than in a single walk-through. This is what the Ultra/Bespoke scope makes possible. If your penthouse is a permanent home rather than a project, this is the conversation to have.
