The Transformation

Design Notes

Koramangala's urban density makes this 2,800 sq ft villa at Purva Windermere feel like a hidden retreat — and the interiors amplify that sensation. The couple, a ceramic artist and a sustainability consultant, wanted their home to feel handmade, natural, and connected to the earth. The Premium package supported an unusually tactile approach. The kitchen uses a deep terracotta laminate with a honed granite countertop in moss green — colours drawn from the garden visible through the kitchen window. Acrylic uppers add subtle sheen without disrupting the organic feel. The living room's feature wall is a textured lime-wash plaster finish in raw sienna — no panelling, no laminate, just warm imperfect texture. Wardrobes use a jute-weave laminate with matte brass handles. The staircase has reclaimed-wood treads with a wrought-iron railing. The terrace hosts the artist's outdoor studio with weatherproof shelving. Cove ceiling in warm amber tones. Completed in 66 days.

Scope of Work

  • Modular kitchen — deep terracotta laminate lowers, acrylic uppers, honed moss-green granite countertop, Hettich soft-close hardware
  • Soft-close wardrobes — jute-weave laminate with matte brass handles, all bedrooms across both floors
  • TV unit with textured feature wall — lime-wash plaster in raw sienna applied directly as living room focal point
  • First-floor TV unit — earthy toned laminate console with open shelving for curated display
  • Cove false ceiling — warm amber LED zones, both floors, with recessed earthen-toned pelmet detailing
  • Complete interior painting — raw sienna feature walls, soft terracotta-tinted white throughout remaining rooms
  • Flooring — warm terracotta handmade-feel tile ground floor, natural wood-grain laminate first floor
  • Pooja unit — free-standing cabinet in mango wood finish with stone surface and hand-thrown ceramic lamp niche
  • Staircase — reclaimed-wood solid treads, wrought-iron hand-forged railing, under-stair storage unit
  • Branded Hettich hardware across all modular units, both floors
  • 3D visualisation and design approval — full two-floor coordination with material palette board sign-off
  • Terrace outdoor studio — weatherproof open shelving, workbench slab surface, and planters for studio use

Nature Inside. Life in Balance.

When the materials and textures of a home are drawn from the natural world, the space stops feeling designed and starts feeling discovered. An earthy palette is not a style trend — it is a commitment to materials that age well and spaces that stay relevant.
