Earthy Villa at Purva Windermere, Koramangala

The Transformation
Inside This Home
Design Notes
Koramangala's urban density makes this 2,800 sq ft villa at Purva Windermere feel like a hidden retreat — and the interiors amplify that sensation. The couple, a ceramic artist and a sustainability consultant, wanted their home to feel handmade, natural, and connected to the earth. The Premium package supported an unusually tactile approach. The kitchen uses a deep terracotta laminate with a honed granite countertop in moss green — colours drawn from the garden visible through the kitchen window. Acrylic uppers add subtle sheen without disrupting the organic feel. The living room's feature wall is a textured lime-wash plaster finish in raw sienna — no panelling, no laminate, just warm imperfect texture. Wardrobes use a jute-weave laminate with matte brass handles. The staircase has reclaimed-wood treads with a wrought-iron railing. The terrace hosts the artist's outdoor studio with weatherproof shelving. Cove ceiling in warm amber tones. Completed in 66 days.

Nature Inside. Life in Balance.
When the materials and textures of a home are drawn from the natural world, the space stops feeling designed and starts feeling discovered. An earthy palette is not a style trend — it is a commitment to materials that age well and spaces that stay relevant.
